George Washington Richards was born June 10, 1840 in Logan County, Virginia now West Virginia.  He died December 7, 1909 in Crawley Creek, Logan County, West Virginia. He is in his 20's in this picture. He also had a nickname by the name "Jesse". I was told he was fond of Jesse James and looked something like him. Black Richards named his twin boys Frank and Jesse Richards. Maybe he knew his father's nickname was Jesse and named his twin boys Frank and Jesse for that reason. From Larry Bevins
